FreedomLink works through the existing prison email system (CorrLinks/TRULINCS). Your loved one emails our dedicated bot address, and we process their requests — whether it's sending a message to family, asking AI a question, or searching the internet. Replies are sent back through the same email system. You receive messages directly in the FreedomLink iOS app.

The inmate side uses the CorrLinks email system already available in federal prisons. On your side, you use the FreedomLink iOS app — available on the App Store. No special downloads needed for the inmate.

FreedomLink works with all federal prisons that have CorrLinks/TRULINCS email access. This covers the vast majority of federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) facilities across the United States.

On our end, messages are processed instantly. The only variable is the prison email system itself, which typically delivers within minutes to a few hours. This is dramatically faster than physical mail (5–14 days).

Yes. There are no contracts. Cancel anytime from the iOS app or your dashboard. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.
